why leslie loves tixel
Tixel treatment is ideal for those seeking smoother, more radiant, and revitalized skin with minimal downtime. One of the biggest advantages is that results continue to improve over time & can last for several years, since the treatment stimulates your own natural collagen. The Tixel device applies controlled bursts of heat energy to the skin using a small, heated metal plate with micro-cones. As the device gently glides across the face and neck, it creates precise thermal impressions that stimulate collagen, tighten the skin, and improve texture, all without damaging deeper tissues.
This Limited-Time Special Holiday Offer is perfect for anyone who wants smoother, brighter, more revitalized skin without the downtime of traditional lasers. This advanced treatment delivers natural-looking improvement that continues to build over time. Results are long-lasting, with many clients enjoying visible benefits for years.

How it works
Tixel® uses a small heated metal plate of multiple tiny heated cones. This is passed over the face and neck, delivering short bursts of heat energy directly to the skin’s surface, without damaging deeper skin tissues. This stimulates collagen production, which in turn tightens the skin.
Side effects and downtime
This will depend on the level of your treatment. Your skin may feel tight, warm and slightly sensitive, as if you have been in the sun, with some mild swelling and redness 24-72 hours post treatment.
For Full & Medium Ablative Treatments, your skin can remain pink to red for 2-3 days and a light brown micro crust will form for 7-10 days.
For the lower intensity Open Channel treatment, you will be able to return to normal activity the following day. Tixel® around the mouth may trigger cold sores, this can be treated as you would normally treat an outbreak.
Tixel® Aftercare?
Proper aftercare is essential to ensure optimal healing and maximize your Tixel® results. While downtime is generally minimal, your skin will be more sensitive for several days, and following these guidelines will help protect your treatment investment.
What to Expect: After your treatment, it is normal for the skin to feel warm, tight, and slightly sunburned. Mild redness and swelling may appear for 24–72 hours. Depending on the treatment intensity, small micro-crusts may form and naturally shed over 7–10 days. These are part of the normal healing process.
Immediate Aftercare: Avoid touching the treated area as much as possible to reduce the risk of infection. Do not rub, scratch, or pick at your skin as this can lead to scarring or hyperpigmentation. Keep the area clean using only approved, gentle products recommended by Leslie. Reference and follow the post-care instructions provided to you following your treatment. If questions arise, reach out to Leslie via text at 713-898-5846.
Healing Timeline: Light redness: 1-3 days. Micro-crusting (if ablative): 7-10 days. You’ll have a noticeable glow in about 1 week. Tightening and collagen improvements: 4-6 weeks, with continued improvement over several months
Sun Protection: Your skin will be more vulnerable to UV exposure after Tixel®. Avoid direct sunlight for the first 48 hours. When outside, wear a wide-brimmed hat and mineral sunscreen (such as SkinBetter Tone Smart). Apply daily SPF for at least 6 months to maintain results and prevent pigmentation.
Makeup Use – Leslie recommends using ONLY Oxygenetix® breathable foundation because it is safe, post-procedure coverage (day after & beyond). Oxygenetix is available for purchase at Royal Aesthetics. We recommend Oxygenetix for everyday wear, not just post-procedure!
